the art in my heart: not to be morbid, but...

ckimmm:

if anything, it’s shown me that at any given moment i could leave this earth. any of us could. sadly, it’s become more of a cliché phrase we say when someone dies rather than a truth we live by.

we’re aware of our own oblivion. we’re know that we don’t know when we’ll die, but do we realize that…

the stuff that Spilled over: Head Voice :]

jeonal:

I’d trade in all my musical talent for a great voice to sing with.

I know I say it all the time, but it still stands that I’d rather have a good voice than be able to play my drums or my guitar or my piano or saxophone or etc. etc….

more than it being “cute”…my mouth gapes wide open. i am in awe.
a sister once told me that at a conference, a korean lady shared a story where little children were stirred and dunked in the Holy Spirit. She was taking care of these korean toddlers while the adults were having worship. She decided to worship with the kids as they sat in a circle. They sang simple worship songs, but do you know what happened? Kids starting crying, they started speaking in tongues, they were encountering the living God and the work of the Holy Spirit. But it didn’t end there. The lady realized that she couldn’t just stand there and let this blessing pass by. She took the children and went into the adult worship service. She told them to go to the adults and pray for them. They did so…and my goodness, adults were crying, kids were prophesying over them, the SPIRIT was USING THESE CHILDREN to speak and minister to the adults.
Unbelievable. But even with this doubtful, reason-filled mind, my heart believes that this is so possible. Jesus told the people and his disciples that we all need childlike faith. He knew the easiest way to meet Him, to be used by Him. Childlike faith. Pure hearts.
(dude, that spiderman boy. what in the world.)
i desire childlike faith. fiery passion. utter dependence on You Lord.

thanks for sharing, esther. i love this photo….
